Terms & Conditions: |

| 1. |
I authorize Defence Housing Authority Islamabad (DHAI) and its authorized representatives to verify my credit rating from credit reference agencies. |
|
| 2. |
I understand and agree that the Registration Fee of USD 5,000 payable upon submission of this Registration Form is non - refundable unless:
i) DHAI cancels the Housing Scheme;
ii) DHAI refuses my application; and/or
iii) I am unable to obtaining requisite financing in which case refund of the Registration Fee shall be made
to me or my duly authorized representatives in Pakistan Rupees. |

I understand that the Registration Fee shall be adjusted in the Purchase Price of my plot. |
|
| 4. |
DHAI shall allocate the numbers / addresses to plots to the customers on 'FIRST COME FIRST SERVE' basis. I understand and agree that if a corner plot is allotted to me, I am liable to pay additional charge of 10% of the purchase price of the plot. |
|
| 5. |
I understand that at the time of possession of the plot to me, DHAI shall, in my presence or in the presence of my duly authorized representative, carry out measurements of the plot. I understand and agree that if, after such measurements, DHAI determines that the total land area of the plot exceeds the standard allotted size, I shall, within 90 days of a written notice from DHAI, pay the cost of such additional land area to DHAI, as solely determined by DHAI. I further understand and agree that if, after such measurements, DHAI determines that the total land area of the plot is less than the standard allotted size, DHAI shall determine the price/cost of such undersize plot, and shall refund to me the additional price/cost, if any, paid for it. |

| 6. |
In order to secure a loan from a registered loan giving agency for the purchase of a plot, I may mortgage the plot to such loan giving agency after obtaining a No Objection Certificate from DHAI . |
|
| 7. |
I shall, from the date of possession of the plot, be liable to pay all taxes, rates, assessments, duties, charges (including betterment and maintenance charges) and impositions which may now or hereinafter be charged or imposed upon or be payable in respect of the said plot or anything relating thereto by any competent authority under any law, rule, regulation or bye-law, as may from time to time, be in force. |

| 8. |
I shall comply with and abide by all the laws regulating DHAI and the rules, regulations, bye-laws and orders that may be made/issued thereunder by DHAI, from time to time. |
|
| 9. |
I shall, within a period of three (3) years from the date of possession of the plot construct a house in conformity with the construction bye-laws of DHAI and shall obtain a completion certificate from DHAI in accordance with the prescribed procedure. In case I am unable to procure a completion certificate from DHAI within three (3) years of obtaining possession of the said plot, I shall be liable to pay to DHAI non-utilization charges, as determined by DHAI. |

| 10. |
I understand that DHAI retains the right to inspect/monitor the construction of my house, through its representative, at all reasonable times. |
|
| 11. |
I shall not disturb/interfere with the layout of the Housing Scheme, in any manner whatsoever, and shall not encroach upon or usurp or put into my use, the pavements, pathways, roads, beams, green belt or any of the area/piece of land in the ownership of DHAI other than that allotted to me. In case of any such violation, DHAI may, without any notice and at my risk and cost, take appropriate action(s) to restore such pavements, pathways, roads, beams, green belt or any of the area/piece of land in the ownership of the DHAI and I shall immediately pay to DHAI the costs incurred by DHAI in connection therewith. |

| 12. |
DHAI reserves the right to cancel the allotment of my plot, resume its possession and forfeit five percent (5%) of the payments made by me, in case I contravene any conditions of allotment/transfer. In such a case, it shall be lawful for the authorized representative of DHAI to enter upon my plot and take possession thereof. |
|
| 13. |
I shall pay the proportionate cost of any facility provided by DHAI for development and/or maintenance of the infrastructure etc. |
|
| 14. |
All stamp duty and registration fee etc., payable in respect of my plot shall be borne by me. |
|
| 15. |
I shall not transfer or sub-divide my plot without the prior approval of DHAI. Upon approved, I shall pay the requisite transfer/division fees, as prescribed by DHAI. |
